For monetary gifts purchased toward your registry, we assess a modest service fee to gift givers in order to cover transaction costs. For service fee information, please see the schedule below:

5. What is the difference between a Gift Registry, a WishCard Registry and a Charity Registry?
The Gift Registry, WishCard Registry and Charity Registry are designed to help you determine a type that would best match your personal gift preferences and registry experience. While the Gift Registry includes both optional monetary and charitable gift components, the WishCard registry is geared towards members that prefer to receive solely monetary gifts. The Charity Registry allows members to register both for traditional or monetary gifts and is more focused toward charitable giving. Please see Question 2 above for more information.
6. Can I have more than one registry on the same account?
Absolutely. There are no limits to how many registries you can create at eRegistry.com. The best thing is that you can choose to have any combination of Gift, WishCard and Charitable registries on your account.
7. Does eRegistry.com offer a FREE webpage?
Yes. Every time you create a registry at eRegistry.com you automatically receive a FREE and fully customizable webpage for your event.
8. How do I let my guests know where I'm registered?
To notify guests of your registry, simply access the “Guests” tab on your registry menu and you can send emails to as many guests as you wish. For your convenience we have automatically included a link to your registry in the body of the email notification. *Please be aware that certain Hotmail or Yahoo account holders may receive notifications in their junk mail folder.
One of the great features of eRegistry.com is the ability to invite your guests to view your webpage which is also linked your registry. By doing so you present a more appropriate and tasteful approach than an outright invitation.
9. How can I see which of my gifts were bought and by whom?
eRegistry.com provides you with a highly detailed and user friendly display which tracks gift purchases. On the “Gift List/WishList” tab you are able to see the item(s) purchased, date, name and contact information of the guest who purchased the item(s), as well as any messages.
You can also sort through the different gift types and write thank you notes to your guests.
10. How long do you keep my registry after the event is over?
You can keep your registry and webpage open indefinitely as long as you log in to your account at least once a year. If you have received monetary gifts towards your registry, those gifts will have to be redeemed within one year following your event date. If gifts are not redeemed within a one year period following the event date, eRegistry.com will make a best effort to remit to you the monetary gifts and if not able to, will treat the funds as unclaimed under applicable law. 11. Is my personal information secure? Do you disclose my personal information to any other third part companies?
eRegistry.com does not share, sell or trade with third parties personally identifiable information gathered online, except as described in this Privacy Policy or as required by law.   eRegistry.com may share personally identifiable information with companies that assist us in processing gift purchases, delivering gifts and protecting against fraud, including but not limited to credit card processing companies, shipping companies, credit bureaus, government agencies, etc.  These companies are not authorized to retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any other purposes.
The security of your personal information is important to us and eRegistry.com is committed to handling your customer information carefully.   We restrict access to your personally identifiable information and we use secure socket layer ("SSL") technology to protect the security of your online gift purchase information by encrypting your credit card number when it is sent over the Internet.  In addition, we make reasonable efforts to follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personally identifiable information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it.
12. Why do I need to provide a valid credit card or a social security number in order to register for cash items?
eRegistry.com allows for monetary gifts to be sent and received easily and securely. In order to keep your personal information secure and prevent unauthorized transactions, a one-time account verification is required. You can verify your account either by providing your social security number and date of birth or by providing a valid credit card and billing address. Your credit card will NOT be charged. Your registered address must match your credit card billing address.
Collecting your social security number and date of birth are mandated by Visa and by West Suburban Bank, the issuing bank of the eRegistry.com WishCard. By providing this information you will be able to receive gifts on either an eRegistry.com WishCard or by check. If you choose not to provide this information, you can still opt to provide a valid credit card in which case you will be able to withdraw cash gifts by check only. At eRegistry.com we take information security very seriously and take measures to protect your information and to prevent fraud.
13. I live outside of the United States. Can I still use your service?
While eRegistry.com is planning to expand its services outside of the United States, currently only U.S. based registrants are able to use eRegistry.com.
14. I reside in the United States. Can my guests who live outside of the United States use your service?
As long as guests have a credit card with a billing address in the United States, they can use the eRegistry.com services. We are currently working on a feature that would allow you to receive gifts from internationally based registrants.
15. What kinds of payments do you accept?
Guests who give monetary gifts at eRegistry.com can use Visa®, MasterCard® or Discover®. We are in process of implementing additional payment solutions in order to give your guests more flexibility and security.

You can create a Charity Gift Registry and add any type of gifts imaginable - from physical items to cash gifts in all available formats that best fit your cause.

You can create a Gift registry and designate charitable gifts as part of the registry. The eRegistry.com Gift registry allows you to simultaneously receive gifts for yourself as well as to donate to your favorite charitable cause.
eRegistry.com Contributions
eRegistry.com contributions are an exclusive feature through which we automatically contribute cash to your gift or charity registry. Contributions are simple: for each gift added from theSHOPS at eRegistry.com and purchased by a guest, eRegistry.com will contribute cash as a percentage of the gift’s value toward your eRegistry.com account. Once the gift is purchased, you are free to use your contributions any way you see fit. 2. How do I open a Gift Registry?
It takes just a few clicks to create your personalized Gift Registry at eRegistry.com. You can select the “Start a Registry” link at the top right corner of the main navigation menu. You will then see the “Select Registry Type” page where you can select “Start a Gift Registry”. If you are not a member or if you are not logged in, you will be prompted to either register as a new member or enter your log in information. Once logged in, you can begin creating your Gift Registry by selecting the registry event (Wedding, Birthday, Graduation, Other), the registry design, title, names of participants, location and personal preferences.
3. How do I customize/edit my registry?
You can customize and edit your registry during the “Start a Registry” process or at any time after you have finished. By selecting the registry title on the left navigational bar or in your Registry Center, you will see a menu that features the Details, Design, Gift List/Wish List, Guests, Contributions and Webpage tabs.
To modify the event title, additional participants, password preferences, event time and location and shipping address for the registry, simply select the “Details” tab and click on “Edit Details” in the top right section.
To modify the design, format and external links of your registry, select the “Design” tab and choose from the options below. You can always change the display format and design of your registry, as well as personalize it with pictures and text.
To modify your registry webpage and take full advantage of all features available to you, select the “Webpage” tab. You will be able to choose the layout and contents of your webpage, whether to link or unlink it to your Gift Registry and in general to manage your guest list, guestbook and provide details about your event.
4. How do I add gifts to my registry?
You can always add a gift to your registry from the Gift Panel available on each of the registry menu pages. You can add gifts from the “Gift List” tab on the registry menu as well.
A Gift Registry allows you to add two types of gifts, Traditional and Cash:
Traditional gifts are physical gifts that you can find either on the eRegistry.com theSHOPS network or anywhere on the Internet.
  • To add an item from theSHOPS, simply select the “The SHOPS Item” button and browse through the millions of products available from hundreds of merchants. When you find an item you like, select “Add to my registry” and you are done! Adding items from theSHOPS takes only a second. A distinct advantage of a gift selected and purchased from theSHOPS is that you will receive an automatic monetary contribution from eRegistry.com as a percentage of the gift’s value. For example, if you add a $100 gift from theSHOPS and it is later purchased from your gift list, depending on the merchant you will receive a contribution between $1 and $30 in your eRegistry.com account. You can use your contributions any way you like.
  • To add an Internet item, you will have to enter the item’s name, copy and paste the item’s URL address in the allotted field, enter the item’s cost and quantity desired and upload an optional image.
Cash gifts are monetary gifts that can be requested in several tasteful formats:
  • Custom item allows you to create your own unique item. This is a great feature if you choose to add a traditional gift not found at theSHOPS or a gift that is specific to you. Some examples would be: “Cocktails on the beach” or “Scuba diving Lessons for two”. When purchased, funds will become available on your WishCard or can be withdrawn by check
  • WishCard option allows for the addition of a WishCard on your gift list. This is a very tasteful way to request cash gifts as most guests realize that a universal gift card can be used to purchase just about anything. When purchased, funds will become available on your WishCard or can be withdrawn by check
  • Group Gift allows you to list any large ticket item and break it down into smaller gift units for easy purchase by individual guests. Another great feature by eRegistry.com, the Group Gift is perfect for those significant items that cannot be purchased by a single guest. When purchased, funds will become available on your WishCard or can be withdrawn by check
  • Charity Gift allows you to designate a gift for your favorite cause. When purchased, funds will become available on your WishCard or can be withdrawn by check

5. Can I add an eRegistry.com WishCard to my Gift Registry?
Absolutely. Adding a WishCard to your Gift Registry will allow you to tastefully request cash gifts in the form of a universal gift card. Simply click on the “Add a WishCard” option in your Gift Registry menu and you will be able to add as many cards as you wish in denominations of up to $1,000.
Please be aware that according to your set preference, all monetary gifts will be either loaded onto your existing WishCard or will remain at eRegistry.com until you request a check.

6. Can I add gifts from any other online store?
Yes. By using the Internet Item feature, you can add any item from anywhere provided you have the item’s URL (Internet address found on the top of your browser). While eRegistry.com offers an immense selection of over 30 million brand name products, there is always the possibility that we don’t offer that unique item that may be found in a boutique shop. We are happy to provide you with the simple tools to add such an item; simply enter the item’s name, copy and paste the item’s URL address in the allotted field, enter the item’s cost and quantity desired. You can also upload an image of the item. The item will be displayed on your gift list and guests will be able to purchase it directly from the vendor.
7. How do I create my own item?
You can create your own unique item by using the Custom Item feature on your Gift Registry. This is a great tool if you choose to add a traditional gift not found at theSHOPS or a gift that is specific to you. Some examples would be: “Romantic dinner for two” or “Skydiving Lessons”. The Custom Item is a monetary gift. When purchased, it will allow the funds to become available on your WishCard or can be withdrawn by check.

Yes. You can opt to have your registry password-protected at any time. This can be done either when you are creating a registry or on the “Details” tab after your registry has been created. Please note that you will have to provide your guests with your registry password in order for them to successfully view your Gift Registry.
11. How would I know when a gift has been purchased?
Each time a gift is purchased from your registry, you will receive an automatic email notification from eRegistry.com. You can also view the status of your gifts in the Gift List tab.
12. Why is the Group Gift feature useful?
The Group Gift feature allows you to list any large ticket item and break it down into smaller gift units for easy purchase. A Group Gift is perfect for those significant items that cannot be purchased by a single guest. Some examples include: a child’s college education, a honeymoon trip, down payment on a house, expensive electronic items or a new car. When the gift is purchased, the funds will become available on your WishCard or can be withdrawn by check.
13. How do I return a gift?
If a Traditional (physical) gift was purchased for your eRegistry.com Gift Registry, you can return it directly to the third party vendor that sold the item. For example, if a guest purchased a plate set from Sears, the set will have to be returned directly to the merchant. eRegistry.com provides a gift registry service only and will NOT able to accept returns of purchased gifts.
If a cash (WishCard) gift was purchased for your registry, eRegistry.com will not be able to refund monetary gifts.
14. What happens if I add an item to my registry but later it becomes unavailable at the store?
Merchants’ inventory can change frequently and it is sometimes possible that an item that you have already added to your registry later becomes unavailable. If this occurs, you can either choose to list the same item from a different merchant or you can find a substitute item.
As long as the gift has not been purchased, you can always delete it and add any other gift that you like. After deleting the traditional gift you can add a Custom Item which will allow you to receive a cash gift.
16. What if one of my guests already bought the gift, can I still get money instead of a physical gift?
Once a traditional gift has been purchased, it will be shipped to you directly from the merchant. To receive a refund or a store credit, you will have to return the gift back to the merchant. You can also choose to relist the same item as a cash gift by selecting the “Custom Item” option.
17. I created a Gift Registry a while ago. Can I change it to WishCard Registry?
While you can create, edit and delete registries, you will NOT be able to change them from one type to another (Gift Registry to WishCard Registry). If you prefer to have a WishCard Registry, you can delete your existing Gift Registry and create a new WishCard Registry. It only takes a minute to set up a new registry.
18. My guest purchased a traditional gift for me using eRegistry.com but it has not arrived yet. What should I do?
Depending on the merchant shipping the gift, it may take from one day to up to a few weeks for an item to arrive to your specified shipping address. If you believe that a gift has been delayed, please email us at customersupport@eregistry.com and we will be happy to assist you with tracking the purchase of the item and to provide you with additional support.
19. My guest purchased a cash gift for me using eRegistry.com but it has not arrived yet. When and how should I expect the cash gift?
Once purchased from your registry, cash gifts are either electronically loaded onto your WishCard or await redemption by check, depending on your set withdrawal preferences. If you have opted to receive a WishCard, cash gifts are usually reflected on your WishCard balance within five business days. eRegistry.com strives to process your cash gifts as soon as possible while protecting your security and preventing unauthorized transactions. If you believe that a cash gift is taking too long to be credited to your WishCard, please email us at customersupport@eregistry.com and we will be happy to assist you with tracking the transaction and to provide you with additional support.
If you have opted to receive gifts by check, once you have requested a withdrawal, a check will be sent to you within five business days. A WishCard Registry is designed for registrants who prefer to receive only monetary gifts. It is tasteful, elegant and allows you to list gifts in different formats, look and feel.
No new bank account is required to open a WishCard Registry. One eRegistry.com Visa WishCard is provided per registry, with up to two users listed on the card. The WishCard is free for the first year and can be extended to two years for a $20 fee. For more information on the WishCard, see here
When you first create your WishCard registry, you will be prompted to select from one of two cash withdrawal methods: WishCard or Check. This is a permanent selection that cannot be reversed at a later time. Once selected, you will receive your funds either electronically on your personalized WishCard or by requesting a check. If you wish to change your WishCard withdrawal method, you will have to delete your existing registry and start a new one.
Once you create your WishCard Registry, simply add gifts and notify your guests. When you receive your first gift, you will be able to request your WishCard/check and begin enjoying your gifts. It’s that easy!

To modify the event title, additional participants, password preferences, event time and location and shipping address for the registry, simply select the “Details” tab and click on “Edit Details” in the top right section.
To modify the Design, Format and external links of your registry, select the “Design” tab and choose from the options below. You can always change the display format and design of your registry, as well as personalize it with pictures and text.
To modify your registry webpage and take full advantage of all features available to you, select the “Webpage” tab. You will be able to choose the layout and contents of your webpage, whether to link or unlink it to your gift registry and in general to manage your guestlist, guestbook and provide details about your event.
5. How do I add gifts to my registry?
To add cash gifts to your registry, select from one of the several gift types on the Gift Panel. WishCard Registry gifts that can be requested in several tasteful formats:
  • theSHOPS Item allows you to select a gift from the eRegistry SHOPS merchant network and add it to your registry so your guests will visualize what item will be purchased with the cash gift. When a guest purchases theSHOPS items from your gift list, the funds will become available on your WishCard or can be withdrawn by check
  • Custom Item allows you to create your own unique item. This is a great feature if you choose to add a traditional gift not found at theSHOPS or a gift that is specific to you. Some examples would be: “Romantic dinner for two” or “Skydiving Lessons”. When purchased, funds will become available on your WishCard or can be withdrawn by check
  • WishCard option allows for the addition of a WishCard on your gift list. This is a very tasteful way to request cash gifts as most guests realize that a universal gift card can be used to purchase just about anything. 2. How does the Charity Registry work?
The Charity Registry is very similar to a Gift Registry. You have the ability to add both physical as well as cash gifts on a Charity Registry, create a fully customized webpage as well as track purchases, sponsors and all sponsor communication.
When you create a Charity Registry, you can designate a cause (title) for the event, enter participant names, upload pictures, post and edit event information and manage sponsor RSVP and guestbook features.
eRegistry.com allows you to collect monetary gifts in two ways:
  • Gift List
  • eRegistry.com Contributions
The Charity Gift List is the primary mean of requesting monetary gifts on a registry. Gifts are conveniently redeemed either through your personalized eRegistry.com Visa WishCard or via a check.
eRegistry.com contributions are an exclusive feature through which we automatically contribute cash to your gift or Charity Registry. Contributions are simple: for each gift added from theSHOPS at eRegistry.com and purchased by a guest, eRegistry.com will contribute a percentage of the gift’s value as cash toward your eRegistry.com account. Once the gift has been purchased, you are free to use your contributions any way you see fit. You can either load the contributions on your WishCard , request a check, contribute the funds toward the charity of your choice or gift them to anyone else.

You can select the “Start a Registry” link at the top right corner of the main navigation menu. You will then see the “Select Registry Type” page where you can select “Start a Charity Registry”. If you are not a member or if you are not logged in, you will be prompted to either register as a new member or enter your log in information. A Gift Registry allows you to add two types of gifts, Traditional and Cash:
Traditional gifts are physical gifts that you can find either on the eRegistry.com theSHOPS network or anywhere on the internet.
  • To add a theSHOPS item, simply select the “The SHOPS Item” button and browse through the millions of products available from hundreds of merchants. When you find an item that you like, select “Add to my registry” and you are done! Adding a theSHOPS item only takes seconds. A distinct advantage of a gift selected and purchased from theSHOPS is that you will receive an automatic monetary contribution from eRegistry.com as a percentage of the gift’s value. For example, if you add a $100 gift from theSHOPS and it is later purchased from your gift list, depending on the merchant you will receive a contribution between $1 and $30 in your eRegistry.com account. You can use your contributions any way you like.
  • To add an Internet item, you will have to enter the item’s name, copy and paste the item’s URL address in the allotted field, enter the item’s cost and quantity desired. You can also upload an image of the item.

Your webpage also offers great tools to help you plan your event. Each webpage can be customized to feature any or all of the available sections, including a Welcome and a Personal Story page, Album, Event Party, Location, Guestbook and RSVP sections.
3. How do I link or unlink my webpage to my Gift Registry?
You can always turn your webpage on or off (link or unlink your webpage to your registry). You can also link your registry to an external webpage by accessing the “Design” tab on your registry menu, copying the URL at the bottom of the page and posting it to the desired external webpage.
4. What is the Welcome section?
The Welcome section on your webpage allows you to upload a picture and enter a personal message for your guests to see when they visit your registry.
5. What is the Story section?
The Story section can also be used to upload a picture and to enter a personal story or other type of event information to be displayed on your registry.
6. What is the Album section?
The Album section is the perfect tool to add up to 8 pictures and captions to be included on your registry. We are currently working on raising the limit to an unlimited number of pictures.
Please note that all submitted pictures should not exceed 2Mb in size and are subject to approval before being posted on your webpage and registry pages.
7. What is the Party section?
The Party section is where you can introduce your special event guests, including a wedding party or any other type of officiates. There is no limit to the number of party members that can be listed on the Party section.
8. What is the Location section?
The Location section is perfect for providing event location details, map and directions.
9. Is there a limit on the number of Guestbook entries?
There are no limits to the number of Guestbook entries.
10. Can I edit my Guestbook entries?
Absolutely. You can review and edit all Guestbook entries that you have received and choose which ones to display on your registry pages. eRegistry.com also reserves the right to randomly review Guestbook entries for inappropriate content that is inconsistent with eRegistry.com’s Terms and Conditions.
11. Is there a limit on the number of RSVP entries?
There are no limits to the number of RSVP entries that you receive for your event.
1. What is the eRegistry.com WishCard™?
Think of the eRegistry.com WishCardTM as the ultimate gift card. It is reloadable, convenient and ready to take you anywhere. Because it works just like a debit card, the eRegistry.com WishCard is as good as cash. You can make purchases anywhere Visa card is accepted and you can withdraw your money gifts at over two million ATMs worldwide. It is the perfect gift for any occasion.
2. Where can I use my eRegistry.com WishCard™?
You can use the card anywhere Visa debit is accepted. You can also use it at any ATM machine displaying either the Star or Cirrus logo. Certain fees may apply.
3. Do I need to order/activate my eRegistry.com WishCard™?
No. Your eRegistry.com WishCard™ will automatically be mailed to you and activated after you receive your first gift contribution. You are free to use your eRegistry.com WishCardTM as soon as you receive it in the mail. Your PIN number will be included along with the WishCard in a plain white envelope. Please be careful not to immediately discard your mail when your initial gift has been purchased.
4. How do I know how much money is on my eRegistry.com WishCard™?
You may check your balance online, or by calling 1-866-276-5110. You will need your eRegistry.com WishCard™ account number and PIN to check your balance. You may not check your balance at the checkout, and store receipts do not print your available balance. Be sure you have available funds prior to making your purchase.
5. Are there any fees associated with the eRegistry WishCard™?
There are no eRegistry.com fees associated with the eRegistry.com WishCardTM when used within one year. After one year, a $20 fee, as indicated in your terms and conditions, may be assessed. Please note that fees are assessed by West Suburban Bank based on the Schedule of Fees and Limits.
6. How do I use my eRegistry.com WishCard™ to make cash withdrawals at ATMs?
To withdraw cash from an ATM, enter your PIN and choose "Checking Withdrawal." Be sure you have enough funds on your eRegistry.com WishCard™ to cover the $1.50 issuer fee and any ATM surcharges added by the ATM owner.
7. Can I change my PIN?
Yes. You can change your PIN by either calling 1-866-276-5110 or you can do it online. Certain fees may apply.
8. What if I lose my PIN?
You will not be able to make cash withdrawals at ATMs or check your balance. You may, however, continue to use your eRegistry.com WishCardTM to make purchases. You can also change your PIN at any time by either calling 1-866-276-5110 or you can do it online.
9. Can lost or stolen eRegistry.com WishCards™ be replaced?
Yes. If your eRegistry.com WishCard™ has been lost or stolen, and if it can be verified that you are the original card holder, we will replace your eRegistry.com WishCard™ less the fee listed in your terms and conditions.
10. Can I use my eRegistry.com WishCard™ for making purchases over the Internet?
Absolutely. You are free to use your eRegistry.com WishCard™ anywhere you Visa® is accepted. You will also receive cash back awards if you use your eRegistry.com WishCard™ for purchases made at our partner network TheShops.
Your WishCardTM is probably working. Some transactions are declined because the purchase amount is greater than the balance on the card. The merchant will not know your WishCard™'s balance. You must tell them to "split" the purchase amount, charging your card with an amount up to the balance left and using another form of payment for the balance of the transaction amount. Also, your card may be declined at restaurants because the restaurant automatically adds an anticipated tip amount to the card authorization, which may bring the total over your available card balance. When using your eRegistry.com WishCardTM at a restaurant be sure your card has enough value to cover the ticket plus a 20% tip amount, even if you don't plan to tip that much or want to leave your tip in cash.
12. Why are holds being placed on my account?
Balances reflect the amount of all transactions that have been processed. Some locations (e.g., restaurants, hotels, etc.) impose temporary holds on their charges. This is particularly prevalent at restaurants that often send in an authorization request for not only the total transaction amount, but an estimated tip as well. Once actual charges have been authorized, these holds are removed and your balance and available funds will be updated accordingly.
13. Is credit extended on the account?
The eRegistry.com WishCard™ is good only for the amount of funds loaded onto the card. No credit is extended on the account.
14. How do I use my eRegistry.com WishCard™ for making purchases at retail locations?
When making purchases at retail locations, inform the merchant to process your purchase as a "credit" transaction.
15. Can I use my eRegistry.com WishCard™ more than once?
Yes. You can use your eRegistry.com WishCard™ as often as you like, as long as there are available funds.
16. Does the eRegistry.com WishCard™ expire?
Yes. The eRegistry.com WishCard™ expiration date is printed on the front of the card. Depending on your choice the eRegistry.com WishCard™ has either a one or a two-year expiration. If you have chosen a one-year expiration, there are no fees assessed to your account balance. At the end of the expiration period you can choose to extend the duration of your WishCard to a two-year duration for a $20 fee. If you have already chosen a two-year expiration, a $20 fee will be assessed to your gift balance when you first make the choice.
1. How can I buy gifts for a registrant?
To purchase a gift from a gift registry, first locate the registry by visiting Find a Registry and entering the registrant’s names and event type if known. Once you have identified the appropriate registry, select the “View” link on the results page which will lead you to the gift list.
If gift items have been listed on the registry, select one or more gifts by clicking on “Select Gift”. Depending on the type of registry, you will be directed either to a store that carries the gift or to an eRegistry.com payment page.
Traditional items (physical gifts) are purchased directly from the store that carries the gift and not at eRegistry.com. When you select such a gift from a registry, you will be directed to the specific store on a new page. Before you complete the gift purchase, please enter your name and contact information so that the registrant can communicate with you in the future.
When you complete your gift purchase, it is important to return back to the registry and indicate by “Yes” and “No” whether you purchased the gift or not. This will help us ensure that registrants have accurate gift lists at all times.
WishCard items (monetary gifts) are purchased directly at eRegistry.com. When you select such a gift, you will be directed to an eRegistry.com checkout page where you can make the purchase, enter your contact information as well as leave any personal notes to the registrant. While there are no shipping fees for WishCard item purchases, eRegistry.com assesses a small fee (see table) to offset third party transaction charges.
Whether you purchase a traditional or a monetary gift, the registrant will know who made the purchase, the date and the amount of the gift. Any personal messages left to the registrant will also be viewed.
2. Can I purchase a gift anonymously?
Yes. You can select the checkbox marked “I wish to remain anonymous” before making a gift purchase.
3. What is the eRegistry.com Note Package?
The Note Package is a very useful feature that allows you to bring or mail a gift note to the registrant. The package includes an elegant eRegistry.com Thank You Note, a smaller Comments Note and an envelope. By purchasing a Note Package you have a great way to bring a physical gift to a special event, while your monetary gifts have been sent electronically.
4. How do I ship a gift that I bought?
If you have purchased a traditional gift from a vendor, the item will be shipped directly from that vendor to the gift registrant. All you have to provide is the registrant’s shipping information which if provided can be found on the registry itself.
If you have purchased an alternative gift directly at eRegistry.com, the funds from the purchase will be provided to the gift registrant so they can purchase the gift themselves. No shipping is required on your behalf.
